The Bahco LTS Open Reel Fibreglass 30m/100ft tape measure is a true piece of quality engineering from this long established Swedish tool giant. The 30 metre (100 foot) fibreglass blade is made up of more than 16,000 individual strands of material making it able to withstand a force of up to 500 kilos! The blade is certified as accurate to EEC Class II levels, is marked with both metric and imperial measurements along its length as is tipped with a traditional but highly effective stainless steel end hook (otherwise known as an anchor). Bahco have protected the blade with their own double nylon coating that not only helps resist marking or scuffing, it also significantly reduces the effect of abrasion, thereby making your tape last significantly longer. The blade is held within an open reel, frame type case which allows the blade to be cleaned (under a hose or tap) to prevent jamming and damage to the mechanism. The blade is pulled back inside the case by a robust winding mechanism whilst the ergonomic carrying handle makes measuring all day long a cinch.
