Medium sized corrosion resistant samarium cobalt pot magnet with an M4 threaded hole on the non-magnetic face. The central hole is also countersunk on the magnetic face so it can be fitted with a countersunk screw. 25mm diameter x 10mm thick with a M4 threaded hole. Countersunk on the magnetic face so they can be fixed in place with 5mm diameter countersunk screws. Magnet is only magnetic on the countersunk face. Magnet can support 16.7kg pull vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness. Samarium cobalt pot magnets are made of a powerful rare-earth magnetic material sunken in to a steel shell meaning that the north pole is on the centre of the magnetic face and the south pole is on the outer edge around it. The steel pot increases the adhesive force of the magnets giving them an incredible hold for their size. An added advantage of pot magnets is that they are resistant to chipping or cracking following constant impact with a steel surface. These magnets are countersunk on the magnetic face and can be fixed to a surface with a 5mm screw. They are made from samarium cobalt so they have a high maximum operating temperature being able to withstand temperatures up to 300 degrees celsius.
