F4M B60-1

Large strong Neodymium N42 pot magnet with a counter-bored hole on the magnetic face. Magnetism is concentrated on the one face to provide the maximum holding force. 60mm diameter x 14.5mm thick with a 8mm diameter counter-bored hole for fixings. Each magnet is only magnetic on the counter-bored face. Each magnet can support 139kg pull vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness. Coated with three layers of nickel, copper and nickel to reduce corrosion and provide a smooth finish. Can be fixed in place with 8mm diameter cap head screws. Max operating temperature 80 degrees celsius. Plating Ni-Cu-Ni (Nickel). Material NdFeB. Slide resistance 27kg. These are the largest of the Neodymium countersunk pot magnet range. Neodymium pot magnets are made of a powerful Neodymium magnet sunken in to a steel shell meaning that the north pole is on the centre of the magnetic face and the south pole is on the outer edge around it. The steel pot increases the adhesive force of the magnets giving them an incredible hold for their size. An added advantage of pot magnets is that they are resistant to chipping or cracking following constant impact with a steel surface. These magnets are counter-bored on the magnetic face and can be fixed to a surface with an 8mm screw. These magnets come with a safe-handling warning because they are so powerful they can be dangerous if not handled carefully.
